In case bisexuals and/or women needed any more reasons to dislike Steven Moffat, someone compiled an article including just a handful of the awful things he’s said.
Let’s not forget his belief that asexual characters are boring so there’s no point in writing them!
What a guy.
This is why I can’t take Moffat stans seriously when they say Steven Moffat is a “nice guy” and that we shouldn’t “bully” him. This man has said some awful things about his viewers, the people he hires (he originally thought Karen Gillan was “short and frumpy”), the characters he writes for (calling Nancy from The Doctor Dances a slut), and even makes fun of past Doctor Who episodes that he hasn’t written (Calling Classic Who a joke).
If it was just his writing that bothered me then I could at least look past things to a degree, but it has clearly been shown through various interviews that he is sexist and homophobic, and it shows in his writing. He thinks a “strong female character” is a sassy woman carrying a gun. He thinks good representation is giving us a lesbian couple that comes across as abusive. He thinks that the only women that would travel with the Doctor are young ones that fancy him (Did he completely ignore Donna’s season?). And he somehow thinks that Queen Elizabeth, also known as the virgin queen, would throw herself at the Doctor and marry him, despite her history highly contradicting that.
Steven Moffat is not a nice guy, and doing a little research can easily prove that. He is an expert at making flashy episodes that look good as long as you don’t think about it much afterward. He is a good manipulator, but he is not a progressive writer or showrunner.
I met this twerking, albino Raven named Pearl today. It is only one of four known albino Ravens in the whole world.
Pearl lives in this woman’s house. The handler has a permit, and the bird is property of the government (like hawks and falcons). She is affiliated with the California Wildlife Center. Every time the handler stopped petting Pearl she started cawing. She really likes affection.
The definition of a healthy lifestyle is not working out all the time, eating fruits and vegetables and lifting.
A healthy lifestyle is doing whatever you like, smiling, inner peace, eating whatever you like and whatever is good for your body and your soul, loving, being happy, laughing with the ones you love, feeling comfortable with your body and being positive. Enjoy being alive.
Schrödinger opens the box and nothing changes.
The cat lacks vital signs (no heartbeat, no breathing, no brain function): the cat is dead.
The cat exhibits continued animation (blinking, walking, nudging his hand with its little head): the cat is alive.
Schrödinger is afraid.
That has not changed, either.
I drove around for 2 hours after leaving work and found 3 houses with “For Rent” signs, and like a couple dozen for sale. Too bad we’re looking to rent and not to buy right now.
